Music at Mt Egerton was a cultural development project informed by research and collaboration at and around the site of the former kaolin mine in Steetley Lane. The project involved children from the Mt Egerton Primary School and the Mt Egerton dance club, local artists and former employees of the clay mine, working with Aphids artists, including two young professional musicians undertaking mentorships with the company.
