In a twisted suburban fable of loss and redemption we find a miniature cabaret where lovers and drag queens sell their souls for the ultimate life of affection.

Puppeteers Sarah Kriegler and Jacob Williams present this beer-stained story of a neighbourhood not unfamiliar. Supported by music from UK Gypsy band, The Tiger Lillies, Apples and Ladders portrays love, sadness and dreams using layered images of shadow puppetry, marionettes, object-theatre and Bunraku puppets.
